forever yours

this might be cheesy, but when i saw this work on the side of a building, i couldn't help but smile. when my sweetheart proposed, he had inscribed a beautiful message on the inside of my engagement ring: "Greater Love Hath No Man"

when i picked out his ring, i felt the need to inscribe something for him as well. my choice? "Forever Yours"

this tattoo parlor thought it was a good approach to life. but in all reality, when you get a tattoo or get married- it does signify the biggest commitment ever. can't erase ink on skin.

other updates:

baby beckham is growing! appointment with midwife went well this week. have merged into the final trimester and so will be seeing my midwife every 2 weeks. excited. i'm enjoying all the movement that my little guy makes, and sometimes i feel like this.

i'm dreaming of days when i can relax in beautiful spaces like this one. (first seen here)

oh the creativity here, just makes me smile!

super inspired by this comparison.

the life-story of this woman INSPIRES me beyond all belief to just keep on taking pictures.

have continued the preparation process for baby's arrival into this world and am LOVING these classes.

just by way of announcement, you may notice that my posts have not been as frequent. this is due to the focused attention i am trying to give to my baby and to the remainder of my pregnancy. i will still be posting, just not daily and you will still get more baby bump updates. so stay tuned :) exciting times ahead! eventually i will decide on a name for my little one too... i'm still so undecided. anyone of you ever had a hard time actually committing to a name for your bebe?

for the dreamers

as an artist i love to appreciate others talents. it's really thrilling to see people succeed at their dream.

when i was in highschool i dreamt of one day having a gallery exhibit my photographs. i dreamt of publishing my work in a high-quality photo book. i dreamt of so many things. some i've already achieved (like the gallery exhibit one) some i still have yet to achieve (like more gallery exhibits and the book deal). but i believe in dreaming. and i believe in hard work.

here's a video of some dreamers. and frankly it rocks! original song and a music video brought about through a kickstarter project.

so check it out. sit back and totally enjoy. the music is awesome in all its originality. the dance moves are off the charts. and i especially am a fan of the dancing baby. :)

5.13.11- Erin & Sean get married

there are always so many photos to edit from wedding festivities. that's how it's supposed to be though, since the day is meant to be picture-perfect. so glad that i was there to capture this one. loved so many things about this couple and their unforgettable day!

congrats to erin and sean!

photography is...

"Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” ~ Don McCullin

summer is for gardening

my mom has a green thumb like it's nobody's business but her own. i have a lot of things to learn... i'm looking forward to gardening with her this summer.

as i prepare to welcome my own little baby into this world, i can't help but be grateful that my mom is so near. there's so many things that i want to know that i need to ask her... so many things that i need her help with. i'm just so grateful that she's still around to answer my questions and be my friend.

she's recently started a blog about life and the importance of making proper investments. she's one smart lady. check out what she's got to say here.

28 weeks- my own little chinese cabbage

last week i crossed into the realm of the third trimester... hitting 28 weeks. the appointment with my midwife went well. everything is in good order.

i can honestly say that my idea to do this food-comparison project has been quite the adventure. i have a new appreciation for all things grown :)

my little baby is a Chinese cabbage this week. he's so active. likes to roll around all the time. even hiccups a lot too.

we've been listening to bach together. and the beatles. my husband bought me one of these. it's been a fun thing to wear while working.

aprox 14.8" and 2.25 lbs:

i love when trees blossom and birds sing.

we have a lilac bush right out my front door. it smells so good.

utah is really pretty at this time of year.

spring makes me really excited for summer.

i'm really lucky to be able to see this building every day, since i live right near to it. the grounds are so pretty and well-kept.

i LOVE how the stores are filled with strawberries this time of year.

what are some of your favorite things about spring?
