are you on instagram? cause i sure am!!! and honestly, i think it's the greatest thing ever. i love snapping and sharing. this was the first time, in 8 years, that this entire family had been together. i'm glad i was there to capture the growth of their fun family. they came from all over, from hawaii to new york city to salt lake. it was a windy day, but perfect. enjoy!

he still drives

collects silver coins
remarried at 90 to a widow down the street named Vera.
he's the last surviving member of the Amelia Earhart rescue team.
he's a veteran.
he's intelligent and independent.
he's a Beckham.
and he's my husband's grandpa and my baby's great grandpa.

happy birthday

april fools day isn't really seen as "april fools" day around here. it's first and foremost my husband's birthday. and so, all jokes aside- we simply enjoy celebrating him. today he turned the big 3-0! and even though he really didn't want to make too big of a deal about leaving his 20's... i had to do something special for him on his birthday.

and so... i contacted a friend (who makes cakes) and commissioned her to make a fabulous birthday cake for my sweetheart.
